FSD Supervised is now Assisted Driving Basic

Tesla app screen listing Assisted Driving Basic at €99 a month
From the original X post — the European subscription screen.

Tesla just renamed FSD Supervised in Europe to Tesla Assisted Driving Basic at €99 a month.

The screen lists Autosteer, Traffic-Aware Cruise Control, Lane Change, Navigate on Autosteer, Dumb Summon, Actually Smart Summon, Autopark, and Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control. It also says the package is not yet available, and that currently enabled features still need a supervising driver.

I hate the name. If this helps get FSD Supervised approved where I live, I am all for it.

“Full Self-Driving” is a fight with a regulator before the car has left the car park. “Assisted Driving Basic” is a name that sounds like lane keep with extra steps. That is the point. The feature list is still the Supervised stack. The map of who has actually recognised the Dutch RDW file has not moved because of a rename.

That map still lives on the FSD Europe tracker. Eight countries are red. Germany is still the rest of the story. A new label on the subscribe button does not change the vote math. It might change whether a national agency is willing to put the words on a form.
