Tesla’s in-car Automations app spotted in Europe
Tesla’s in-car Automations app has been spotted on a car in Europe for the first time, 8 months after it launched in China.
@TeslaNewswire shared the sighting today. It works like “if this, then that” for your car:
- Event: something happens, like the driver’s door opening
- Condition: something is true, like someone in the driver’s seat
- Action: the car does it, like a “don’t forget your belongings” reminder
- Limit: automations can’t run while Autopilot or FSD is active
It first shipped in China with update 2025.45.32.1 in February, per Not a Tesla App’s release notes. Tesla hasn’t announced a European release, so this looks like an early server-side switch-on.
Shortcuts like this are what I’d use every day.
Note: the Europe sighting is a single report, shared by @TeslaNewswire and written up by Basenor, and hasn’t been confirmed by Tesla. Tesla hasn’t announced a European release.
